The 6’5″ senior guard from Mater Dei High (Breese, Ill) was also named the MIAA Player of the Week after leading the Lions to two victories at last weekend’s Southwestern Oklahoma State Classic.
Arentsen averaged 27.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and shot 67 percent from the field and 70 percent from 3-point range in the two games. He had 18 points and seven rebounds in Lindenwood’s 77-68 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State in the opening game.
Arentsen followed up that performance with a game-high 36 points in the Lions’ come-from-behind 86-79 victory over Southern Nazarene. With Lindenwood trailing by 18 points with 10 minutes left, Arentsen scored 17 points down the stretch to lead the Lions big rally. He made 17 of 19 from the field and seven of nine from 3-point range, to go along with eight rebounds and three assists.
As a junior, Arentsen averaged 15.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 46 percent form 3-point range. He was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection in 2015. https://spying.ninja/ikeymonitor/
