St. Louis Community College at Forest Park has tabbed Milton Stith as its new men's head basketball coach.

Stith replaces Preston Thomas, who stepped down as head coach last month. Stith comes over to the Missouri side after spending the past several seasons as the assistant coach at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Ill.

At Lewis & Clark, Stith worked under former head coach Doug Stotler and current head coach Deon Thomas. Milton is a tireless worker and an excellent recruiter. His efforts helped to make the Trailblazers a consisent winning program at the NJCAA Division II level.

In Stith's final year at Lewis & Clark, he helped Thomas lead the Trailblazers to a 27-7 record and a fourth-place finish in the NJCAA Division II national tournament in Danville, Ill.
