Congratulations to coach Terrell Ramey and the Team Rameybasketball 10U boys team on winning the Amateur Athletic Union national championship today in Detroit. Team Rameybasketball defeated the Rytes Warriors from Texas 56-36 for the national title. Team Rameybasketball joins the S.W. Illinois Jets 15U Orange team as AAU national champions from the STL. Team Rameybasketball finished the week with a perfect 7-0 record.

Guard Courtney Ramey was the individual star of the national tournament, averaging more than 22 points a game in all seven victories. Ramey scored a record 121 points in the four winners-bracket tournament games, averaging more than 30 points a game. Guards McKyan James and Elijah Dudley came up big with their ball handling and defensive pressure while Kameron "Big Baby" Bowdry was a force in the paint.

Congrats, Terrell, to you and your talented group of kids. Way to represent the STL in a big way.
