The honors continue to roll in for SLU senior Amanda Kemezys as she closes out her stellar collegiate career. The senior from Belleville East was recently named to the ESPN the Magazine All-District 7 women’s second team by the College Sports Information Directors of American (COSIDA). To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average.

The 6’4” Kemezys is currently averaging 12.6 points, 9.3 rebounds while shooting 48 percent from the field. She also has a team-high 15 blocked shots.

Kemezys has a chance to finish her career at SLU in the top 10 in several categories, including scoring, rebounding, blocks, free throws, and field goal percentage. She has been a consistent force for the Billikens on the inside for much of her career. She earned All-Atlantic 10 Conference Third Team honors as a junior in 2009.

  Congratulations AK-55. Job well done.
