Lisa Stone tabbed as new SLU women's head coach

Lisa Stone has been named the new head coach of Billikens' women's basketball program. Stone comes to SLU from the University of Wisconsin where she spent nine seasons from 2--3-11. Stone has amassed a record of 503-237 during her 26-year career as a collegiate head coach.

SLU defeats LaSalle; will face Xavier in A-10 semis

Atlantic City, N.J. - The Billikens held off a late LaSalle rally to post a 78-71 victory in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Conference Postseason Tournament. The No. 2 seed, SLU (25-6) advances to the semifinals where they will take on No. 3 seed Xavier. Tip-off is at 2:30 p.m. (St. Louis time) The winner will face either UMass or St. Bonaventure in the championship game on Sunday....

Billikens to compete in the 2012 CBE Classic

Saint Louis U. will be one of the four host schools for the 2012 CBE Classic in November. The Billikens will join Kansas, Texas A&M and Washington State at the Sprint Center in Kansas City for the championship rounds of the CBE Classic. The semifinals will be held on Monday, Nov. 19. The championship game will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20. The rest of the field and the bracket will be completed at a later date.
