Remaining schedule of A-10 Conference contenders
The SLU Billikens have found surprisingly found themselves in the hunt for the Atlantic 10 Conference title and a possible first-round bye in the A-10 Conference Tournament in Atlantic City. Here is the schedule of the remaining games for the Billikens and the other top contending teams in the A-10. There are a lot of big games still on tap as we try to figure out who will emerge as the league champion and who gets the automatic byes to Atlantic City. Stay tuned.

Amherst, Mass.- The late-season surge of the Billikens continued on Sunday with an impressive 69-56 victory over Massachusetts in Atlantic 10 action....Billikids do it again: Rally to defeat Rhode Island
“We fall down, but we get up.” -- Donnie McClurkin -- The more I watch our Billikids play, the more I get the sense that I am watching a Rocky movie every night. The Billikens defeated Rhode Island 62-57 in Atlantic 10 Conference action on Wednesday night at the Chaifetz Arena. With the victory, the Billikids pushed their winning streak to five games. They are currently 8-3 in A-10 play and 17-8 overall. The Billikens’ last four victories have followed a similar pattern. ...Lauren Woods scores career high 27 points in SLU victory
Junior forward Lauren Woods scored a career-high 27 points to lead the SLU women’s team to a 71-62 victory at Fordham in Atlantic 10 action in New York on Tuesday night. The 6’0” former Belleville East standout made nine of her 11 field goal attempts, including two 3-pointers to lead the Billikens. She also made seven of 10 from the free throw line. She scored 18 of those 27 points in the second half. The 27 points was also a single-game best by a SLU women’s player this season. ...Billikids win double-overtime thriller over Dayton

It should be a tremendous college basketball atmosphere on Saturday at the Chaifetz Arena when the Dayton Flyers pay a visit. The honors continue to roll in for SLU senior Amanda Kemezys as she closes out her stellar collegiate career. The senior from Belleville East was recently named to the ESPN the Magazine All-District 7 women’s second team by the College Sports Information Directors of American (COSIDA).
